Suntech Automated Fabric Roll Packing Machine: Streamlining Efficiency

California – Amidst the epidemic, the textile industry experienced a surge in export scale driven by the demand for epidemic prevention materials, reaching its highest point since 2015. Based on data from customs authorities, Chinese textile and apparel products had a total export value of $291.22 billion in 2020, marking a 9.6% year-on-year increase. The growth rate was 11.1 percentage points higher than the previous year. Notably, the export value of textiles amounted to $153.84 billion, a substantial 29.2% increase compared to the previous year. This accounted for a significantly higher proportion of the industry’s total export value, rising from 44.3% to 58.2%.

However, amidst the complex domestic and international situation and considering the high base of the previous year, China’s clothing exports experienced some growth in 2022, albeit at a significantly slower pace. According to statistics from China Customs, cumulative clothing exports from January to December amounted to $175.4 billion, reflecting a 3.2% year-on-year increase. This growth rate was 1.4 percentage points slower than the previous 11 months. In November and December, clothing exports were $13.12 billion and $14.29 billion, respectively, showing a year-on-year decrease of 14.5% and 10.1%. Although the downward trend had slightly slowed compared to the 16.8% decline observed in October.

Textile and apparel products play a crucial role in the demand chain, serving as the final links and the closest display section to consumers. Consequently, they have a significant impact on both domestic and foreign export development within the textile industry. As a result, the process of textile fabric roll finishing holds particular importance.

The weaving process encompasses several stages such as warping, beaming, sizing, drawing-in, weaving, and finishing. Out of these, finishing is the most time-consuming and least efficient phase. It involves labor-intensive and time-consuming fabric inspection, as well as the less automated processes of finishing and packaging large fabric rolls. Thus, enhancing textile production efficiency hinges on improving fabric inspection and packaging methods. The implementation of an intelligent fabric inspection and packaging line has the potential to make a substantial difference in the efficiency of these two stages.

The vital roles of fabric roll inspection and Packing are as follows

During the processes of weaving, dyeing, and finishing, various defects (weaving defects, dyeing and finishing defects, printing defects, and many more) inevitably arise in fabrics. It is crucial to eliminate fabrics with such defects, as garments made from them would be defective. This is especially critical for mass-produced garments that involve multiple layers of fabric cutting. The presence of defective fabrics within the mix would result in a substantial number of flawed garments. Hence, it is necessary to inspect the fabric before cutting and mark noticeable defects to ensure their removal or elimination after the garment pieces are cut.

Fabric inspection can be carried out using dedicated fabric inspection machines or through manual inspection while laying the fabric. Apart from identifying fabric defects, fabric inspection also involves assessing the fabric’s width, color variations, skewness, and confirming the fabric’s length.

The textile industry plays a dual role: it produces fabrics, which are then used to create beautiful garments. These garments, in turn, serve multiple purposes such as providing warmth, conveying visual aesthetics, and enhancing the appearance of the wearer. Ultimately, textiles strive to achieve the functions of packaging and presenting beauty. As textiles are closely intertwined with the packaging industry, they themselves require proper packaging.

Automatic Fabric Roll Packing Machine play a vital role in ensuring the orderly packaging of textile fabrics. They enable fabrics to be packaged in an organized manner, allowing for smooth progression to the subsequent manufacturing processes without any hindrance caused by disarray or handling difficulties. Additionally, in certain factories, after critical stages like fabric inspection and packaging, fabric rolls need to be transported to the next location for garment production. Packaging these fabric rolls facilitates efficient transportation and mi
