GROW – The Psychometric Habit Builder is one of its kind. It is the first psychometric habit builder app and allows the users to build habits using techniques that are backed by scientific research. As per a recent psychological study with 100 German college students trying to build new study habits, using the GROW app, the results were fascinating and the all of them saw great results after about 42 repetitions with the app.

To build any good habit, the individual requires constant motivation and persistence but often due to lack of it, they’re not able to sustain the desired habit. This is when the app comes in light, that assists the user in laying the right foundation for building and sustaining a productive habit for a long time.

Unlike the regular habit building or habit tracker apps, GROW is the first and only psychometric habit building app that does not only track how often a habit is done, but measures how psychologically strong it becomes over time. It works in the following manner:

1. DEFINE: GROW guides the user through an optimized habit definition process.

2. MEASURE: GROW asks the user questions about their habit after each repetition (psychometric measurement).

3. FEEDBACK: GROW shows the user’s progress using stats on how psychologically strong the habit has become.

4. OPTIMIZE: In the full version, the app can also analyze the stats and show the user’s weak spots in their habit building process so that they can take the corrective measures.

GROW works best for habits that can be done in 3-60 minutes such as studying, working, writing, workout, reading etc. One of the most important parts of the app is the statistics, which helps the users in tracking their progress, based on different criteria as listed below,

  • Automaticity: Shows how strong the habit has become
  • Motivational Resilience: Shows how resistant the habit is against motivational attacks like television, mobile phone, and other distractions
  • Long-Term Goal: Shows the progress towards the reason for building the habit
  • Goal Attainment: Shows how complete and clean the habit repetitions are on an average
  • Context Stability: Shows how stable the environment is, where the habit is performed in
  • Motivational Value: Shows how useful, important and rewarding the habit is
  • Flow: Shows the mental focus and psychological state of the effortless output
  • Self-Efficacy: Shows how strong the belief in one’s capability to build the habit is, despite unfavorable circumstances

GROW is available for free download at App Store however, the highly committed habit builders can choose from monthly, 6 months to 12 months subscription if they want to access the full version with more features like defining unlimited habits, flow and self-efficacy stats, optimization feature and all future features that are constantly added by the developers.
